Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026

Ride Limousine (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates a private chauffeur service on the French Riviera, in the French Alps and between Geneva and the Alpine ski resorts, and this website at ride-limousine.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Site or book our services, why we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data protection law.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Ride Limousine, operating from 14 voie romaine, 06000 Nice, France. For any question about this Privacy Policy or your personal data, you can contact us at contact@ride-limousine.com or by phone at +33 6 30 73 64 66.

2. What personal data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Identity and contact data: full name, email address, phone number.
  • Booking and trip data: pickup and drop-off addresses, date and time of travel, flight or train number, number of passengers, vehicle class selected, and any special requests.
  • Communications: the content of messages you send us through the contact form, by WhatsApp, phone or email.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type and pages visited, collected automatically through server logs and, only once you have given your consent, analytics cookies.

We do not collect or store your payment card details on this Site. Where a payment link is provided to confirm a booking, payment is processed directly by a secure third-party payment provider, not by us.

3. Why we use your data and our legal basis

  • To process your booking or quote request — necessary to perform the contract with you.
  • To respond to your enquiries sent via the contact form, WhatsApp or phone — necessary to perform the contract, or our legitimate interest in providing customer service.
  • To send you service-related communications (booking confirmations, driver details, schedule changes) — necessary to perform the contract.
  • To keep accounting and invoicing records — necessary to comply with our legal obligations under French commercial and tax law.
  • To keep the Site secure and prevent abuse — our legitimate interest in protecting our services and users.
  • To measure Site traffic and improve our services, if you accept analytics cookies — based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (see our Cookie Policy).

4. Who we share your data with

We only share personal data with recipients who need it to deliver our services, namely:

  • Our chauffeurs, to the extent necessary to carry out your booking (name, contact number, pickup/drop-off details).
  • IT service providers who host the Site, our database and the images used on it, acting under our instructions and only for that purpose.
  • Our email delivery provider, used to send booking and contact notifications.
  • WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.), if you choose to contact us via WhatsApp.
  • Mapping and address look-up services (such as Google Maps and OpenStreetMap/Nominatim), used to display our location and to suggest addresses when you fill in a booking form.
  • Competent authorities, where we are required to do so by law.

We never sell your personal data.

5. International data transfers

Some of the third parties listed above (for example WhatsApp/Meta and Google Maps) may process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. Where this occurs, we rely on the safeguards recognised as adequate under GDPR, such as the recipient’s participation in an approved data transfer framework or standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Contact and quote requests that do not lead to a booking: kept for up to 3 years from our last contact with you, for follow-up purposes.
  • Booking and client data: kept for the duration of our business relationship, then archived as required by French accounting and tax law (currently up to 10 years for invoices and accounting records).
  • Cookie consent choices: kept for up to 6 months, after which we will ask for your preferences again, as recommended by the CNIL.

7. Cookies

The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage). Non-essential cookies are only set with your consent, which you can give, refuse or change at any time. Full details are available in our Cookie Policy.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • Request erasure of your data, where applicable;
  • Restrict or object to certain processing of your data;
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format;
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent (e.g. analytics cookies), without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@ride-limousine.com. We will respond within one month. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse or alteration, including transmitting data over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and restricting access to personal data to staff who need it to do their job.

10. Children

Our services are intended for adults who book private transport. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our services or in the law. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.
