Private transfer Nice Airport → Èze

Èze has to be earned: a medieval village clinging to its rock more than four hundred metres above the sea, reached by the Moyenne Corniche and its bends. To arrive without stress, with luggage or for dinner at a prestigious hotel, the simplest way is a chauffeur who knows the last kilometre.

The Moyenne Corniche: the road and its bends

From the airport, the most direct way crosses eastern Nice and then climbs the Moyenne Corniche: a road with character, narrow in places, with views over the bay of Villefranche. In twenty-five to thirty-five minutes you reach the village. If the road is slow or closed, the A8 and the La Turbie exit lead to the same point by another access.

Tour coaches and rental cars struggle to pass each other on some sections, especially in summer and in the afternoon. A professional chauffeur manoeuvres without stress and lets you enjoy the scenery.

A pedestrian village: where does the car stop?

The heart of Èze is a fortress of cobbled lanes, closed to traffic. The chauffeur drops you at the village car park or, if you have booked a village property such as Château Eza or the Château de la Chèvre d'Or, at the access point closest to reception. Your hotel can sometimes send a porter: tell us the name of the property so the chauffeur coordinates the arrival with them.

Down below, Èze-sur-Mer is reached by the Basse Corniche: if your hotel is at the water's edge, say so and the route is adapted.

The Exotic Garden, the Nietzsche path and dinner at the top

Travellers who go up to Èze come for three things: the Exotic Garden and its panorama of the Mediterranean, the Nietzsche path, the trail linking the village to Èze-sur-Mer, and the hotel-restaurant terraces where you dine at sunset. For dinner, ask for a return: the chauffeur waits or comes back at the agreed time, so you can enjoy the wine without worry.

If you continue your stay to Monaco or Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, a single vehicle can take you from one point to the next: they are two short stages on the same coast.
