A peninsula still busy in September
At the end of September the tourist season is running out of steam, but the regatta draws thousands of visitors and the entrance to the peninsula remains slow at peak hours, especially at weekends. The ride from Nice, about 105 kilometres, normally takes between an hour forty and two hours, and can exceed two and a half hours on days of heavy attendance. The chauffeur chooses the approach according to live traffic.
The Nice to Saint-Tropez transfer page details the journey times by season. If time matters more than budget, a helicopter transfer is possible on request from Nice.
