Private transfer Nice Airport → Menton

Menton is the last French town before Italy: lemon trees, gardens, an ochre-toned old town and a mildness that lasts into winter. The ride from the airport follows the whole eastern Riviera; your chauffeur takes you there, if you wish, past some of its finest viewpoints.

At the far end of the Riviera: 35 to 45 minutes by motorway

From the airport the A8 runs east, passes through the La Turbie tunnel, skirts Monaco from above and reaches Menton in thirty-five to forty-five minutes. On fine weekends and on big event days in Monaco, traffic thickens around the principality. The Basse Corniche, slower, is a lovely alternative for travellers who prefer views to speed.

For a stop in Monaco or Èze on the way, ask for a multi-stop journey: the chauffeur waits during your visit and then continues.

The Italian border a few kilometres away

Menton is only minutes from the Italian border, and many travellers use their stay to cross to Ventimiglia, particularly on Fridays for its large market. Free movement applies, but spot checks are possible: carry valid ID. If your transfer continues into Italy, mention it when you book.

A journey to Ventimiglia, San Remo or Liguria is not a standard Nice to Menton transfer: ask for a quote stating your final destination.

Lemons, gardens and the old town: a stay worth planning

The Lemon Festival, in February and March, transforms Menton: the Biovès gardens, citrus floats, crowds in the central streets. The rest of the year it is the gardens, the Saint-Michel basilica and the beaches of Garavan and Les Sablettes that draw visitors. The old town climbs in lanes and steps: the chauffeur drops you at the foot of the district and helps carry your luggage to the nearest access.

Staying in a seafront hotel, a villa in Garavan or a flat in the centre? The chauffeur knows the one-way systems: give the full address when you book.
