Between the airport and the centre, the Promenade des Anglais runs along the bay the whole way. The ride takes 15 to 25 minutes in normal conditions, longer at the morning and evening commutes. A tram also links the airport with the city centre; a private chauffeur wins as soon as you have luggage, children, an appointment to keep or an address far from a stop.

On some days the Promenade is closed or restricted for races, cycling events or ceremonies. The chauffeur knows before setting off and goes through the inner streets without changing the price quoted.

The heart of Nice is full of pedestrian streets and restricted-access roads. For Old Nice, Place Masséna or the Cours Saleya, the drop-off is as close as possible to your accommodation, and the chauffeur helps carry your suitcases for the last stretch. The Riviera never really slows down, but some events close the centre: the Nice Carnival in February and March, the jazz festival in July and the big races that use the Promenade.
