Private chauffeur at the Hotel Martinez, Cannes

East of the Croisette, traffic is often smoother than opposite the Palais, except during big events when queues of cars form outside each major hotel. The chauffeur stops at the access provided for arrivals and follows the instructions of the reception staff. If the queue is long, he or she positions nearby and drops you as soon as a space frees up.

From Nice Airport the ride takes half an hour to forty minutes outside busy periods. In the evening and in summer, the last stretch on the Croisette is slower: the chauffeur adapts the timing.

Port Pierre Canto, very close, hosts part of the Cannes Yachting Festival in early September, and the tip of the Croisette opens onto the Palm Beach beaches. For a waterside lunch, a show visit or an evening at the casino, a chauffeur saves you hunting for parking in the neighbouring streets, often full in summer.

To reach the Palais or the Old Port the distance is longer than from the Majestic or the Carlton: plan a ride for your Festival or MIPCOM appointments rather than a walk on the Croisette.

From the hotel, the most requested rides lead to Antibes and Juan-les-Pins, to Mougins for a gourmet dinner, to Grasse for a perfumery visit, to Saint-Paul-de-Vence for the galleries, and to Nice or its airport. Business clients often combine several appointments between Cannes and Sophia Antipolis.
