Private chauffeur at the Majestic Barrière, Cannes

During the Film Festival, MIPIM, Cannes Lions or MIPCOM, the surroundings of the Palais are protected by security perimeters, with filtered access and streets closed on and off. The chauffeur knows the arrangements and chooses the approach to the hotel entrance, sometimes through side streets. He or she drops you at the nearest permitted point and warns you if the last few metres must be done on foot.

Outside event periods access is simpler. From Nice Airport the ride takes about half an hour to forty minutes, and the chauffeur tracks your flight to be there when you land.

From the hotel the Old Port, the Le Suquet district and the Forville market can be reached on foot, which is a real advantage. For longer rides the chauffeur is useful: the private beaches of the eastern Croisette, the restaurants of Rue d'Antibes, the Lérins islands via Quai Laubeuf, or an evening in the hills of La Californie.

For boat shows, such as the Cannes Yachting Festival at the Old Port, the hotel is a few minutes' walk away; the chauffeur is mainly useful for distant appointments and rides to the airport.

From the hotel, the most requested rides go to Nice Airport, to Mougins and Grasse, to Antibes, to Sophia Antipolis for business appointments, and to Saint-Tropez for a day in summer. Delegations often coordinate several vehicles for a single arrival or departure.

For a return to the airport after a show, give your terminal: on Sunday evening and Monday morning the motorway is busier, and we build in an extra margin.
